Product Description:

Benbow is a systemic, broad-spectrum fungicide with translaminar action. It effectively controls leaf spots, rusts, powdery mildew, and anthracnose by inhibiting fungal growth and reproduction. Its preventive and curative action makes it ideal for crops, ensuring healthier yields and improved crop quality.

Mode of Action:

Benbow is a sterol demethylation inhibitor (DMI) which prevents the development of the fungus by inhibiting cell membrane ergosterol biosynthesis. It is taken up by the plant and acts on the fungal pathogen during penetration and haustoria formation. It stops the development of fungi by interfering with the biosynthesis of sterols in cell membranes.
